Carriers, wraps and baby mattresses are close-to-the-body products: you want them to be clean, checked and reliable. Refurbished carrycots and accessories from refurbed give you that peace of mind at a lower price.
Refurbished means a used item has been checked by experts, cleaned, repaired where needed and sold with a warranty.
A structured carrier like the BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Mini gives support and is quick to put on. A wrap, such as the Love Radius Je Porte Mon Bébé, is flexible and needs a bit of practice. The MiniMeis G4 shoulder carrier is another style for children who like to sit up high.
Look for adjustable straps and the age or weight range in the listing.
For the P’tit Lit Essential mattress, the 60x120 cm size is shown. Measure your cot or bed before ordering.
A changing backpack, like the Family Bag Club model, is handy for days out.
Each listing describes the condition of the item, and every piece is checked by experts and covered by the min. 12-month warranty.
Look at how the weight is spread: wide shoulder straps, a supportive back and a good hip fit make long days easier. Wraps spread the weight too but take practice to tie, so consider how much time you want to spend learning.
The P’tit Lit Essential mattress is a plain, flat mattress that works in a cot or travel bed. Check the listing for materials and cover type before ordering.
The page lists BabyBjörn, Childhome, Love Radius, MiniMeis and P’tit Lit. The range is limited, so the pieces change over time.
The selection is small and mixed, from a baby carrier to a family changing backpack, so it makes sense to open each listing and read the details. Each product is described with its own condition, size and what is included.
Refurbished carrycots and accessories are up to 40% cheaper than new. A carrier passed on to another family is more sustainable vs new, as it avoids a new one being produced.
A carrier or mattress from a private seller usually has no warranty and no tested condition, and you have no way of knowing how it was stored. Refurbished items are checked by experts and come with a min. 12-month warranty and a 30-day free trial.
