A footmuff turns a pram or buggy into a warm cocoon for cold days. It is used for a few winters at most, which makes it a perfect candidate for a refurbished purchase: the same comfort, with a lower price tag.
Refurbished means a used item checked by experts, cleaned and sold again with a warranty.
Most footmuffs are designed to be fixed to a stroller seat with straps and slots. Look at the listing and confirm that it matches your seat type and the seat width.
Footmuffs are made for a certain age or length. A larger one gives room to grow, but a snug one keeps the heat in better.
Check the listing for the outer fabric and the filling. A warm fleece lining suits cold weather, while smooth fabric is easier to wipe clean after a muddy walk.
A zip that opens fully, openings for the harness and a hood make it easier to get your baby in and out. Read the description of each one to see what the design offers.
Each listing describes the condition of the item. Every piece is checked by experts and covered by the min. 12-month warranty.
The selection currently features the Kaiser Iglu Nature Footmuff and the Kaiser Schlitti Footmuff. They show two different styles from the same maker. The range is small, so it is worth looking at the listings quickly when you find one that fits.
Footmuffs are also a good pick for parents who want to compare styles. One option leans on a natural, soft look, the other on a more classic cut, and both are listed with their own pictures and descriptions. Take a minute to read about the materials and the closure type before you decide.
A refurbished footmuff costs up to 40% less than new. It is also more sustainable vs new: a good footmuff can pass through several families, so fewer new ones need to be made.
A footmuff from a private seller can look fine in photos but come with no information on cleaning or wear, and no way back. A refurbished footmuff is checked by experts, comes with a min. 12-month warranty and can be returned during the 30-day free trial.
Check the listing details and compare them with your stroller. If it does not fit, you can return it within the 30-day free trial.
