Yamaha LL-TA Transacoustic Brown Sunburst 2023 Electro-Acoustic Guitar

This is a Yamaha LL-TA Transacoustic Guitar in Brown Sunburst. Made in China in 2023, this guitar features a set-neck construction featuring Rosewood back and sides, Solid Engelmann Spruce A.R.E top, Mahogany and Rosewood 5ply neck and Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include gold closed-gear tuning machines along with a piezo pickup and SYSTEM70 TransAcoustic system.

The 5 ply Mahogany & Rosewood neck sits very comfortably in the hand, with a profile that could be described as a ‘C’, feeling slim in the hand and offering ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 14” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface making both chordal and fingerpicking styles of playing a breeze. The LL body design fills the arms nicely, and provides a lively and responsive playing experience with a sound that can really be felt.

The Solid Engelmann Spruce top projects well, with a deep low end and a rich and cutting midrange, pairing well with the articulation from the Rosewood back and sides. The pickup system translates the voice of this guitar well and the TransAcoustic effects provide a self-contained, immersive playing experience, with compelling reverb and chorus effects that resonate within the body of the guitar. TransAcoustic technology adds richness, depth and increased dimensionality to your sound and performance – all without the need for external gear.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition, some light scuffing and scratching can be identified to the top rear edge and towards the top of the rear face.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, the fingerboard demonstrates light playwear in the early to middle register. This cannot be felt beneath the strings and is somewhat difficult to discern from the natural grain.

Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and indentation, visible under direct lighting at certain angles. This is most consistent on the lower bout front face and the center of the rear face. A moderate indentation can be identified to the treble side of the front face lower bout, piercing the finish.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with some indentation in the early register improving as you climb the neck. This does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional with very light signs of wear.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.5mm
