Sony Alpha 7 III - Description

The refurbed Sony Alpha III is the successor of the beloved Alpha II, with plenty of improvements

The sensor has the same 24.2 megapixel resolution, but it is upgraded from a CMOS sensor to a BSI sensor, so promises a much higher dynamic range at low ISO and less noise at high ISO. Plus, it is now possible to record 4K video and the autofocus offers a massive 1118 fields with 93% image coverage.

The completely renewed camera also has a great feature: it can be operated in total silence. There is a fully electronic shutter that can be used instead of the mechanical one if you want to stay quiet, making the camera ideal for theatre photography, stealthy street photography or capturing wedding celebrations without that annoying clicking noise.
